2 seconds off

She doesn't look away when caught in a moment of infatuation. She stares intently and understands the structure of his jawbone and consumes the imaginary taste of his tongue. She doesn't want to be in love with someone so much that she vulnerable to his touch, but she wants to be touched. His squinting eyes are interesting but not vacant enough for her to be in his sights, and as she realizes this, she looks away. No longer infatuated, no longer captivated... He looks at her. The small of her chin and the symmetry of her face gives him a subtle tingle, but she doesn't look back, so he looks away.
